The site is the home for my Poems, Essays, Personal Stories, Narrative, and all things
that I consider important and relevant to Palestine and being Palestinian!
"Hanini"
Hanini means a "native of Beit Hanina". Beit Hanina is the village of my birth in
Palestine. It is located just north of Al Quds (Jerusalem) and has been occupied by the
Israelis since the 1967 War. My family has roots in Beit Hanina that go back for hundreds
of years. Today, there are currently 3 Jewish settlements built on lands stolen from my
family and the people of Beit Hanina which has been cut in half by the Israelis. The
lower part of Beit Hanina is currently cutoff from the upper portion even though its
people have homes, family, and orchards on both sides of the Israeli made divide.
This site is dedicated to the people of Palestine and particularly to the person who has
had the greatest influence in my life, my Palestinian mother.

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you have enjoyed my humble attempt at
"broadcasting" my views and feelings of the love that I have for Beit Hanina, Palestine,
her people, and her sacred soil.

May Palestine and her people know true Freedom, Justice, and a lasting Peace.
